The Big Light

The Big Light is a short tabletop role-playing game in which you play a dying deep‑sea anglerfish swimming toward the sun.

You can play the game solo or with someone. It is based on a few dice rolls and journaling, but you can also choose verbal storytelling. Feel free to add drawings. You do not need to know anything about anglerfish before playing. The game is rules-light, and you only need:

• 1d6
• pen and paper
• a (preferably dark) space where you can sit undisturbed

Through five chapters, you will figure out who your anglerfish is, why it started surfacing, how it dies, and what kind of impact it leaves on the world.
